It’s hard to believe that fall is here, but with fall comes the annual celebration of the manufacturing industry. Manufacturing Day took place on October 4th this year, and for many states (including Wisconsin), the festivities last all month long.

MFGDayAccording to Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce, “Wisconsin’s manufacturing sector contributes nearly $50 billion a year to Wisconsin’s economy and ranks second in the country in the relative size of its manufacturing sector, which employed more than 450,000 workers as of July 2013.” Recognizing these economic contributions is important, because it reminds us how much we have to gain by keeping manufacturing in America, and bringing back the jobs that have left over the years. With $50 billion in revenue each year in Wisconsin alone, imagine how much more is possible throughout the country.

For these reasons and more, Dehumidifier Corporation of America (DCA) is proud to not only be an American manufacturer, but a contributing factor to Wisconsin’s economic success. As such, our products are compliant with the Buy American Act. They are all built here in the United States at our Cedarburg, Wisconsin facility.
